We are a Water and Wastewater Utility service with years of experience in owning and operating Wastewater Treatment Facilities throughout the Upstate of South Carolina and Western North Carolina.

If you are interested in transferring ownership of your system, please contact us by phone or email so we can identify the information required and discuss the system and its needs.

The process for taking ownership:

The HOA board and members desire to transfer their system.

HOA submits a letter of intent of this decision to JACABB Utilities.

The Utility will evaluate the system and make note of any deficiencies and repairs.

Water and/or Sewer rates will be discussed between the HOA Board and JACABB Utilities.

An agreement between the HOA and JACABB Utilities will be prepard and signed.

This agreement along with other appliaction will be submitted to the governing entity of the state for approval of transfer.

Once approved, the final transfer documents will be processed.

The transfer process timeframe:

Depending on the system and the governing entities, the process can take anywhere from three to nine months.

Rate changes

Any increase in rates are subject to approval by the state entity. HOA members will be notified well in advance of any increase.

We can help

We take over operations and maintenance of the system which removes this liability from the HOA. Billing and collection of payments will be handled by the Utility and the HOA will no longer be responsible for Utility services.
